## What Is Tia?

Tia is the AI assistant inside **tie*back*** that helps brands, manufacturers and compliance teams prepare Digital Product Passports (DPPs) and keep product data audit-ready. She reads your workspace with your permissions, answers questions about products, passports, evidence, batches and recalls, reviews supplier documents against your products, and proposes changes that apply only when you confirm them.

Open Tia from the assistant panel on any page. She already knows which workspace and page you are on, so you can simply ask about what is in front of you. Use the names you see on screen, such as a product name, a SKU or a field label. Tia finds the record herself. If a name matches more than 1 product, she asks which one you mean.

### Know exactly where every product stands

Passport readiness for your entire catalogue, in a single question. Tia gives you the exact total, shows the first 20 and links to the full list on the Products screen, already filtered.

### See what is missing, field by field

Tia checks a product against its own field packs, the same fields your product editor shows, and lists what is missing with the most important first. She also explains what the passport catalogue asks for and which values a field allows.

### Turn supplier documents into product data

Evidence is only useful when it reaches your product record. Tia reads a certificate, test report or declaration against the product it belongs to and suggests the values it supports, each beside the value you have today. You decide what goes in.

### Make sense of any file, and of tieback itself

Attach up to 5 CSV, XLSX, PDF or image files of up to 5 MB each and Tia explains what she finds. Ask how a feature works and she answers from **tie*back***'s own documentation, telling you where the answer comes from. She also checks the health of your imports and your resolver domain.

#### Open the document

On the product's **Evidence** tab, or on the request page, press **Review with Tia** on a saved
document.

#### Let Tia read

A progress card shows each step as she reads the document in the context of that product. It
usually takes 1 to 2 minutes.

#### See every suggestion

Each suggestion shows the field, its current value and the value Tia found, numbered "Suggestion
1 of 6".

#### Decide

Choose **Accept**, **Reject** or **Enter a different value**. Accepted values update the
product, with an audit record.

* Scanned PDFs and photos are read as well as PDFs with a text layer, up to 200 pages.
* If a product value changes after Tia makes a suggestion, press **Refresh suggestion** for one built on the new value.
* A review uses at most 300 Tia credits. A short document usually uses far fewer.

## Changes You Confirm

Tia prepares every change as a card that shows exactly what will happen. Press **Confirm** to apply it or **Cancel** to leave everything as it was.

* A card is open for 30 minutes. After that it closes and you can ask Tia again.
* If the value changed after Tia prepared the card, the card does not apply and says so.
* If a change is refused when you press Confirm, the card says nothing was changed and closes.
* Serial numbers are a download only. To mint with them, use the Bring Your Own serials option in the Mint Token wizard. The download link lasts 1 hour.
