# Token Preview

> Inspect an individual minted token from the Minting Dashboard, including its GS1 Digital Link path breakdown, activation status and scannable QR code.

## Overview

The Token Preview panel gives a detailed view of an individual minted token directly from the Minting Dashboard. It opens as a side panel when a token row is selected in the Tokens tab.

## Accessing token preview

1. Open the Minting Dashboard (`/mint`).
2. Select the **Tokens** tab.
3. Select any token row to open the preview panel.

The panel slides in while keeping the token list visible. Close it with the close button, the Escape key, or by selecting outside the panel.

## Displayed information

| Field             | Description                                                                         |
| ----------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Brand**         | The brand name and optional logo.                                                   |
| **Token ID**      | The unique identifier for the token.                                                |
| **SKU**           | The product SKU.                                                                    |
| **Serial Number** | The serial number assigned to the token.                                            |
| **GTIN**          | The GS1 Global Trade Item Number, where assigned.                                   |
| **Lot**           | The lot code, derived from the GS1 Digital Link path.                               |
| **Status**        | Current token status (`minted`, `active` or `revoked`).                             |
| **Activation**    | The activation mode for the parent batch (activated at mint or manual activation).  |
| **Created**       | Timestamp when the token was created.                                               |
| **Resolver URL**  | The full resolver URL for the token, selectable to open in a new tab.               |
| **GS1 Path**      | A human readable breakdown of the GS1 Digital Link path (GTIN, serial number, lot). |

## GS1 path breakdown

For tokens carrying GS1 identifiers, the GS1 Path field shows a structured breakdown with human readable labels:

* **GTIN**: the product identifier from AI(01)
* **Serial Number**: the unit serial from AI(21)
* **Lot**: the lot or batch code from AI(10)

Where a resolver URL does not follow GS1 Digital Link syntax, the GS1 Path shows a dash placeholder.

## QR code

When a token has a resolver URL, the panel renders a scannable QR code (ISO/IEC 18004) encoding that URL. It is drawn as an SVG with error correction and a quiet zone margin for reliable scanning, always in black on white so it scans correctly whatever theme the application is using.

If the token has no resolver URL, the QR area shows a placeholder.

## Missing data

Where a field is unavailable for a token, the panel shows a dash placeholder rather than an error.
