Advanced Studio is the Track B authoring environment for brands that need pixel-precise, fully bespoke passport templates that go beyond what theme tokens can express.

When to Use Advanced Studio

SituationUse
Brand identity is satisfied by token customisationTheme Studio
Layout and content are well-served by standard sectionsContent Studio
Brand requires unique HTML/CSS layouts, custom interactions, or non-standard typographyAdvanced Studio

Security Model

Advanced templates are untrusted authoring input. They are rendered under a strict zero-trust model:

  • All template input is sanitised at publish time
  • Rendered output is served inside a sandboxed iframe using srcdoc
  • A strict Content Security Policy boundary prevents the template from reaching the parent page, the network, or workspace data
  • Trusted data injection uses the mergeCuratedTemplate pipeline — the raw Handlebars {{{ }}} triple-mustache is never permitted

Authoring Workflow

1

Draft

Author the template in Advanced Studio with live preview against representative product data.

2

Validate

The publish pipeline runs structural and security validation before accepting the template.

3

Publish

Publishing creates a new template version. Existing passports are not retroactively re-rendered.

4

Apply

Assign the published template at the product or batch level so future mints render against it.

Plan Availability

Advanced Studio is gated by subscription plan. Workspaces on plans without Advanced Studio see the surface in read-only inventory mode.
